Stellenbosch Chess Club Members had a picnic with their famillies at the Jan Marais Nature Reserve on Sunday 11 December 2016 to end off the year on an informal note.

In the shade of the big trees a few tables were set out, and games of chess and Boulles took place. Good fun with good natured ribbing on the side!

Plans are already underway to make this a yearly event (maybe a bit earlier in December), so look out for this on the calendar next year.
