Stellenbosch Players Tops at Graham Solomon Blitz Tournament
Players from Stellenbosch Chess Club dominated the inaugural Graham Solomon Blitz and Rapid tournament held the past weekend in Cape Town. Batumi Chess Olympiad 2018

Boland Schools Sport Awards 2018
Congratulations to Alexander van der Merwe from Stellenbosch who won the Boland Primary Schools Chess Cup, and was also crowned Boland Primary Schools Sportsman of the Year at the recent awards! For their participation in International Chess Tournaments, Andrew Flores-Bartoli, also from Stellenbosch, and Alexander both received medals at the awards.
