  • At the Central Trials in Paarl, Paul Roos Gymnasium’s U/15s ended up in the top 5 positions. Philip Coetzee (Gold), Dawid Nieuwoudt (Silver) and Antonie Steenkamp (Bronze), are also in the same class at Paul Roos Gymnasium. Reegan Rass and Andrew Stevens made up the quintet.

  • The Stellenbosch Chess Club A Team consisting of Henry Steel, Stephan Wagner, Heinrich Basson and Khadidja Latreche, took the honors in this weekend’s WP Team Blitz Competition with 23,5 compared to closest rivals Steinitz on 16,5.
