Alexander van der Merwe from Stellenbosch took part in the World Cadets Championships which was held in Pocos de Caldas, Bazil, He did extremely well, gaining more than a 100 FIDE rating points in this tournament. Very well done! Gys du Toit shared these photos on Facebook

Idasvalley Primary School did Stellenbosch Schools proud with their U/9, U11 and U13 Mix Teams winning their age groups in the Cape Winelands Top Schools Trials that took place in Paarl on 12 August 2017. We will be cheering you on to Nationals!
