  • Stellenbosch Schools showed that we are a force to recon with when it comes to schools chess in the Western Cape.   • Alexander van der Merwe from Stellenbosch took part in the World Cadets Championships which was held in Pocos de Caldas, Bazil,  He did extremely well, gaining more than a 100 FIDE rating points in this tournament.  Very well done! Gys du Toit shared these photos on Facebook
